All scholars are expected to be in dress code at all times during the school day. There are a few trusted local companies who have worked hard to offer Alma del Mar families high quality and affordable uniform items. Please review the below Uniform Policy thoroughly with your scholars and follow it daily. 
Tops:
Scholars in Kindergarten through 5th grades are required to wear a light blue polo shirt embroidered with the Alma logo. This shirt may be long sleeve or short sleeve in length. 
Bottoms:
Scholars are required to wear one of the following options as uniform bottoms:
  • solid khaki, navy blue, or black pants. Pants and shorts must be chino material. Sweatpants and leggings are not permitted.
  • khaki jumper embroidered with the Alma logo
  • scooter skirt in solid khaki, navy, or black
  • shorts in solid khaki, navy or black
 

Shoes:
Scholar shoes must be solid black, solid white, solid brown or any combination of these colors. Scholars who wear boots or slip on shoes are encouraged to bring athletic shoes to change into for PE. These athletics shoes can be of any type but will need to be removed after PE.

Sweaters/sweatshirts:
Scholars may wear any of the below optional outerwear during school hours:

  • navy blue cardigan sweater with embroidered Alma logo
  • crew neck sweatshirt in solid navy or gray with embroidered Alma logo
  • navy fleece jacket with embroidered Alma logo
  • quarter-zip sweatshirt in solid navy or gray with embroidered Alma logo

Tops:
Scholars in 6th through 8th grades are required to wear a navy blue polo shirt embroidered with the Alma logo. This shirt may be long sleeve or short sleeve in length. 

Bottoms:
Scholars are required to wear one of the following options as uniform bottoms:

 

  • solid khaki, navy blue, or black pants. Pants and shorts must be chino material. Sweatpants and leggings are not permitted.

Frequently Asked Questions

 

If I already have uniforms for next year, do I need to buy new uniforms again? 
Anything that scholars are wearing this year that is within the uniform policy is acceptable for next year. If you are unsure if a uniform item that you have is in compliance with the uniform policy please stop by the front desk with the items for assistance.
