Mr. Veenstra is a life-long resident of New Bedford and was educated in the New Bedford Public Schools. He comes to Alma del Mar as the Founding Plant Manager in 2011 with over 30 years of diversified experience in all phases of commercial and residential construction, carpentry, landscaping, and facility maintenance. He recently completed a course in green building and technology, which stresses sustainability and innovative ways to protect and utilize natural resources. He is excited to be part of the Alma del Mar family and contribute to the growth and success of our children, who are the future leaders of our community and country. John is also the proud father of a member of the Alma del Mar Class of 2028.
