Ms. Tatarian grew up in Lakeville, Massachusetts with her parents and younger sister. She attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, where she graduated with a degree in Biology in 2013. After graduating from Wesleyan, Ms. Tatarian interned in a lab studying bees in New Haven, CT for two summers, while also working as a Math tutor in a learning center. Eventually, Ms. Tatarian began teaching Math in New Haven, focusing largely on providing online learning assistance and small-group interventions to scholars. She joined the Alma crew in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys singing in a choir, cooking, biking, and spending time outdoors.
