What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?

I hope to contribute a safe and loving learning environment so the scholars are comfortable and enjoying their academic experience!
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My English teacher from freshman year of high school, she made me fall in love with literature. She always cared about her students and their academics, she valued her relationships with students. That is the kind of teacher I want to be! A teacher who not only inspires her students but to make a difference in their lives and for them to know their teacher always cared about them.
Why did you become involved in education?
I volunteered at a local daycare in high school, I always knew teaching children was my passion, I loved volunteering there so much and was so lucky to have been hired there to gain more teaching experience. Not only do I love teaching students but I love learning from them as well, it is the most rewarding job.
