What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I decided to join the Alma Crew, because of the diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in place.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to contribute the following to Alma: empathy, active listening, strategic thinking skills, communication, positivity, and feedback.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My sophomore high school ELA teacher made a difference in my life. She is a kind, warm demander who pushed my critical thinking skills and made me a better person.
Why did you become involved in education?
I got into education, because I was so inspired by my former sophomore high school ELA teacher.
Where did you go to college or post-secondary school?
I went to the University of Arizona for undergrad and University of Massachusetts Dartmouth for grad school.
What did you like about your college?
I loved the weather, the food, and all the wonderful people I met. I also go to play basketball which was so fun.

Thai food!
