What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
The incredible sense of unity and family that the entire staff has with each other and how they work together to help the scholars reach their potential was something that really stuck out to me.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope that I can contribute my passion for teaching and love of learning to all the scholars, and create meaningful friendships with the crew at Alma.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My second grade teacher truly impacted my life when I was younger. She was battling breast cancer when I was in her second grade classroom, but never showed pain or discomfort to any of her students. She always taught with a smile on and truly loved to be in the classroom with us, which made us want to be there with her even more.
Where did you go to college? What did you like about your college?
I went to Eastern Connecticut State University for a year and a half before transferring to Bridgewater State University. I really loved all the professors and the environment that they created within the classroom and outside of it. I played field hockey at Bridgewater and one of my professors would take time out of her Saturday mornings / afternoons to come watch her students play. It was truly something that always shocked me to see at the Collegiate level.
