
David Jamina is a Middle School Associate Teacher at Alma’s Frederick Douglass Campus.
What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
The school seemed very interesting and intriguing. I could see myself bringing my skills to this institution and impacting the next generation. I perceive Alma del Mar as a blessing.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I would like to inspire young scholars to be the best they can be, my ultimate goal is to be effective as much as possible.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My Communications teacher in college, known as professor Birch. He always believed in me, especially when I was at my worst. His faith in me impacted me in various ways.
Why did you become involved in education?
I love to impact the younger generation. I also believe education can benefit students, but also the teachers who are teaching as well. Also, knowledge is sweet.

What did you like about your college?
It was a small college and I was able to build easy relationships with colleagues and staff!
