Mr. Francois will be a Fellow at Alma’s Frederick Douglass Campus.
What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself with the mindset of helping the next generation.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to contribute enthusiasm to the kids as well as being a mentor to the next generation.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My 8th grade teacher, she helped me through high school with transitioning.
Why did you become involved in education?
Being a student-athlete growing, I didn’t take school so serious because athletics had opened many doors for me. I want to give back to the next generation: help them understand how important academics is even if you are talented in other things.
