School Uniform Policy
All scholars and their families are expected to read our Uniform Policy thoroughly and follow it. Families of rising fifth grade scholars (were in 4th grade last year), please note that, this year, 5th grade scholars will remain in light blue polos until sixth grade.
If you require embroidery service for an Alma uniform top, Superior Logo will embroider items that are brought in for $5 and it takes about a week.
An alternative for embroidery services is Alma parent, Mayra Carranza! You may call her at 508-863-3766 to arrange for embroidery, which will take about 3 days with Mayra and the cost is $5 per shirt.
Breakfast & Lunch Menus
In order to maximize academic success, all scholars must have a nutritious breakfast and lunch. Alma del Mar is again partnering with Revolution Foods to provide healthful and well-balanced meals for scholars.
Free Breakfast and Lunch
Alma del Mar participates in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP), which provides free meals to all scholars at eligible schools. There is no meal application process required for families at schools in the CEP program.
Breakfast and Lunch Menus
Menus for each month will be posted on the Alma Facebook Page before the end of each month. Families should review the menu with their scholar to determine what meals they will most likely eat.
Meals from Home
Alma del Mar scholars may bring breakfast and/or lunch from home. Refrigeration and heating will not be available, so families should send foods that may be stored and consumed at room temperature.
The items listed below are prohibited at Alma del Mar:
*Fast food
*Caffeinated beverages including energy drinks and soda
If any of the above listed items are brought to school, they may be sent home, confiscated, or discarded. Scholars will have access to water at all times.
Each scholar is given 25 minutes to each lunch. We encourage the food from home to be a light lunch portion. This will help deter snacking throughout the school day.
Due to allergy concerns, scholars are prohibited to share foods or beverages brought from home. Alma del Mar reserves the right to prohibit additional food items as allergy needs necessitate.
