Alma del Mar Charter School is currently constructing a new school building for our Frederick Douglass Campus, which will be used to educate 594 New Bedford children in grades K-8. Our team has identified a wall space in the cafeteria for a large community art mural. We would like the mural to promote equity, celebrate BIPOC, and welcome our diverse community of scholars, staff and families. We also want this mural to align with Alma’s mission and our focus on being an anti-racist organization.
