What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I desired a new opportunity for professional and personal growth, and I was curious about the atmosphere of a Charter school and how that was different from general public school.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to contribute the knowledge and skills I've gained from past teaching experiences, with a dash of my personality.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
I cannot choose just one - all of my teachers have contributed to my path of learning whether it was a positive experience, or one I could learn from.
Why did you become involved in education?
I originally wanted to be a writer when attempting to choose a college major, but my involvement in the Moose Lodge Youth Awareness Kid's Talks program in my town during high school really was a pivotal moment for me.
Where did you go to college or post-secondary school?
Curry College in Milton for undergrad / BSU for graduate (almost done!)
What did you like about your college?
I was very drawn to the small class sizes and close-knit relationships with professors and other staff members that I was able to build.
What is your favorite food?
Comfort Food! - Macaroni and Cheese
What is your favorite book?
My favorite author is Kristen Hannah.
