What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I thought that the opportunity to use my international teaching experience in a Charter School environment would be very exciting and fulfilling.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to offer the students lessons and values beyond what is strictly curricular.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My first and second grade teacher was a person who made a big impression on me with both her teaching and the example she gave us. When I was sick she would come to visit to show me the materials that had been covered at school so that I wouldn't miss a beat. She helped me discover all the potential that was in me.
Why did you become involved in education?
After having worked with at risk teenagers and young adults at my church I discovered my vocation for education.

Vicente Lopez Institute of Teacher Education
What did you like about your college?
My favorite part of my education was the opportunity to gain experience in the classroom as a student teacher.
