We are thrilled to announce that Alma del Mar’s Ottiwell Campus was selected by MassDOT’s Safe Routes To School Signs and Lines Program for the 2023-2024 school year!
MassDOT’s SRTS Signs and Lines Program provides design services and up to $10,000 per individual project in construction funding to selected municipalities for low-cost infrastructure projects around public elementary, middle, or high schools. The goal of these projects is to eliminate small barriers that students encounter when walking, bicycling, or using a wheeled mobility device to get to school.
We are so grateful to MassDOT and the City of New Bedford for agreeing to partner with us on this critical project to improve safety around our Ottiwell Campus.
