We are so excited to see everyone's book character costume on Friday, Oct. 27, for Book Character Day! This day serves as a way to celebrate our love of reading while allowing scholars the opportunity to wear a costume in October.
Please note that on Tuesday, Oct. 31, classes will proceed as usual and scholars will be required to be in uniform.
Due to health and safety precautions, please review the following guidelines:
- Alma is a nut-free school. While we understand scholars may be excited to bring their trick-or-treat candy to enjoy at lunch, no candy with nuts (including peanut butter, almonds, etc) is allowed at school.
- Families shall not send in candy or food to share with your scholar's class. Scholars are never allowed to share food (including candy or snacks) with others.
- As is the case all year round, there is to be no eating or drinking on the bus.
