Meet Mrs. Walsh!

What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
I decided to join Alma to learn how to become the best teacher I can be. I loved the way that there is always support and an experienced teacher willing to help so that I can be the best educator to help scholars be the best they can be.

What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to contribute the idea that learning can be fun, and that it can benefit us in more ways that we can imagine.

What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My fifth grade teacher, Mr. Davidson. He taught me that learning is not just within the classroom. There is a whole world out there ready to explore and that school is just the beginning of our learning. He also always was there to listen and be a friend and mentor with anything I had going on.

Why did you become involved in education?
I became involved in education because I want to help scholars to see their full potential in learning.

Where did you go to college or post-secondary school?
I earned my bachelors degree from Salem State University and am currently attending Bridgewater State University for my masters.

What did you like about your college?
I loved the atmosphere of Salem. There was always something going on campus, and everyone wanted to be there and felt supported by one another and faculty.
