What made you decide to join the Crew at Alma?
During my interview, I saw that the school was a community. Everyone I met was kind and dedicated to helping the students succeed. I value safety, equity, and community which are all values that Alma stands for.
What do you hope to contribute to Alma?
I hope to help contribute to a safe and equitable learning environment.
What teacher made a difference in your life, and how?
My teacher Mrs.Ubiera. She always believed in me and helped me grow into the person I am today. She helped me realize my passion for education.
Why did you become involved in education?
I have three little sisters who I always loved to play teacher with. In middle school, I volunteered at the local elementary school and it was a great experience that led me to pursue education as a career.

Bridgewater State University
What did you like about your college?
Bridgewater State University gave me so many great experiences. I was able to gain relevant experience in the field of education as well as learn about social justice and community service.
What is your favorite food?
Boneless chicken wings, because they can be any flavor
What is your favorite book?
Percy Jackson, because it was my favorite book as a kid and now it holds a special place in my heart.
