Dear Ottiwell Campus Families:
I’m thrilled to announce that we have selected the next principal of the Sarah D. Ottiwell Campus! Her name is Miranda Carpenter, and she brings with her more than 20 years of experience working in education.
Ms. Carpenter began her career in education as a teacher in the Imagine Schools charter network in Florida. After teaching elementary and middle school for 13 years, she moved into leadership roles, first as an Assistant School Leader, and later as a Dean of Student Support. She has seven total years of principal experience, including her most recent role as principal of a school in Rhode Island. She is excited to join the team next year, and we are thrilled to welcome her!
Ms. Carpenter is looking forward to collaborating with families and staff to attain excellent outcomes for all scholars at the Sarah D. Ottiwell Campus. Hear more from Ms. Carpenter in this video message she prepared for all of you!
