This is notice that our Enrollment Lottery event will be held on Wednesday, February 28th, at 5:00 p.m. This will be a virtual event that will be live-streamed on Zoom. Please retain this email so you may access the Zoom link on Wednesday!


Due to the virtual nature of this year's Enrollment Lottery, we want you to know what to expect, whether or not you are able to watch the event live on Zoom. Please be advised that:


  • This is a public event that will be available for anyone to view either live, or via a recording on Alma's website.

  • You are welcome to watch the event live, but your attendance is not required.

  • You will not find out if your child/applicant is accepted for enrollment at Alma during this brief, online event. Accepted lists for incoming kindergarten and sixth grade children, as well as waiting lists for all grades K-8, will be made available on Alma’s website soon after the lottery is held.


Once the event concludes, Alma staff will work quickly to perform the following:

  1. Prepare the automated lottery results for online viewing (excluding personal data such as birth dates and addresses)

  2. Publish PDF of accepted lists (Kindergarten and Sixth Grade) and waiting lists (grades K-8) by 8pm on Wednesday evening


Families will be notified of their wait list number via the school’s website. In addition to posting lottery numbers on the website, within ten (10) business days Alma del Mar will email the wait list number to all families who included an email address on their application.


Please note: Alma del Mar will communicate with families using the contact information provided in the application, and it is the family’s responsibility to notify the school of any changes to the information provided in the application.
