| This is a reminder that our Enrollment Lottery event will be held on Wednesday, February 24th, at 5 p.m. Due to restrictions on public gatherings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be held virtually on Zoom. (You may RSVP here!) Due to the virtual nature of this year’s Enrollment Lottery, we want you to know what to expect, whether or not you are able to watch the event live on Zoom. Please be advised that: This is a public event that will be available for anyone to view either live, or via a recording on Alma’s website.You are welcome to watch the event live, but your attendance is not required.You will not find out if your child/applicant is accepted for enrollment at Alma during this brief, online event. Once the live event concludes, Alma staff will work quickly to perform the following:Prepare the automated lottery results for online viewing (excluding personal data such as birth dates and addresses)Publish PDF of accepted lists (Kindergarten and Sixth Grade) and waiting lists (grades K-8) by 8 p.m. on Wednesday evening (February 24th)Assign support staff to contact families of accepted applicants beginning Monday, March 1Prepare recording of Zoom lottery event to be published online You may view Alma del Mar’s Enrollment Policy here. All applications for the 2021-22 school year are due by 5:00 PM on Monday, February 22nd. Our lottery for the 2021-22 school year will be held on February 24, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
