In anticipation of the General Election on Tuesday, November 5th, Alma del Mar invites families, scholars, and community members to learn more about New Bedford’s Ward and At-Large Council Candidates.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. so everyone can enjoy pizza and beverages. The forum will begin at 6:30 p.m., with scholars from Alma’s Middle School Honors Council moderating the event.
All candidates who will be listed on the General Election Ballot have been invited to participate in this free Candidate Forum.

Regarding Ward Council Candidates: There are contested races for City Council in Wards 1, 3 and 4. Click here to determine your ward, based on your residence.
Regarding At-Large Council Candidates: The top 10 vote-getters move on to the General Election on November 5th. The top 5 vote-getters become at-Large City Councilors.
